1918 Oct discharged from the army on medical grounds, aged 46

1956 Feb 27. He dies . His obituary appears in the Belfast Telegraph for Tuesday 28th February 1956 which states that he died at 48 Laganbank Road (formerly Back Lane) and identifies his wife (Elizabeth Nicholson, nee Moore), late parents (Henry and Agnes Nicholson of Drumlough) and mother-in-law Margaret Moore. The fact that he was a member of the Orange Order is also mentioned.
