William P Kennedy

 

Kennedy appears to be more involved than "just" not observing the curfew for the death of the Lord Mayor of Cork. He appears to have had a revolver, probably supplied by the British, and certainly the IRA believed that he was guiding raids in the village. O'Dempsey was probably collateral damage because he was there at Kennedy's shooting
